RFID reader
The Speedway R220 PoE RFID Reader is a handsfree option to weighing vehicles that utilizes EPC GEN 2 RFID stickers that apply to the inside cab of a vehicle. Antennas are put at the scale to scan for tags that are encoded with the site tag mask only filtering out tags supplied by other facilities that may be in the cab of the vehicle.

The Proximity RFID reader utilizes key fob technology that is best utilized in single direction truck traffic or a centrally located RFID reader. Fobs require to be within 1/2″ of RFID reader for processing. Both RFID systems allow for site admin to setup, monitor, and change RFID tag information for the drivers as needed or allow the drivers to maintain themselves simplifying the weighing process.
